About Farm School

Learning that sticks because it's real

Redstone Equestrian Center partners with homeschool families to bring the natural world into the curriculum in ways that textbooks simply can’t match. Our Farm School programs use the ranch as a living classroom – every animal, plant, and ecosystem on our property becomes a lesson.

Programs are structured to align with common homeschool curriculum frameworks while remaining flexible to each family’s unique needs and pace.

Life sciences: animal biology, ecosystems, habitats

Horses as teachers

Horses have a unique way of connecting with children – they’re responsive, non-judgmental, and endlessly fascinating. Our equine-centered curriculum weaves horsemanship, animal behavior, and responsibility into every session.

Even families without any prior horse experience find that our equine education program builds confidence, empathy, and communication skills in ways they didn’t expect.
